How much data fits in one code?
Up to 4296 alphanumeric characters in theory, though anything past a few hundred becomes dense enough that phone cameras struggle. For long text a short link is usually the better choice.
Can I add a logo in the middle?
Yes. Raise the error correction level to Q or H first, which reserves enough redundancy for roughly 25 to 30 percent of the symbol to be covered.
Do the codes expire?
No. The content is inside the symbol itself, so a printed code keeps working even if this site disappears.
Is there an API?
Not currently. The encoder is a single JavaScript module you are welcome to vendor into your own project.
